On Friday, we took the boys to see their first professional hockey game. The game was a preseason match-up between the Utah Grizzlies and the Idaho Steelheads. The great thing was that game was played at the ice area we have here in our small valley. For the game, the Grizzlies were wearing black sweaters and the Steelheads were in white sweaters.
The game was great, but sad due to the fact the hometeam lost. The next night the conversation got interesting. The 4 year old and I were talking and he asked the following question, "Dad, remember at the hockey game when the black guy got in a flight with the white guy?" I have to admit, my mind was wandering a bit, but this snapped me back to reality lightning fast. It clicked, he was talking about the color of their sweaters. It reminds me of the time when our 7 year old was in the middle of his entrance interview for Kindergarten and was asked, "Do you have a tv show you enjoy watching." His unhesitating response, "I like watching Dogfights with my dad." Priceless!!!

Kids say the greatest things. :)
yeah, cause watching dogfights in person can be pretty dangerous.
and at least he didn't talk about when all those white guys beat up that one black guy
That is awesome...consider yourself followed. Please don't dissapoint.
